you have NO IDEA how much i'd like to buy this and put it up in my coworker's cube. she bitches about something in her life all day, every single day. the last time she was complaining about her kids/her car/her bank/her parents/her body/her teeth/her everything, all i could think was, "well, maybe if you BITCH about it some more, it'll make it better!" alas, i don't want to lose my job. anyway. i'm still thinking about getting this and anonymously leaving it on her desk. very good piece.
I actually wish the word "possibly" was not here. Replacing "you'd possibly" with "you might" would flow more naturally. As the title for this piece, "Possibly" works, but it's awkward within the actual statement.
personally, I think this is rather heartless, but has a good point. complaining doesnt help, but really, the people that should have said SOMETHING arent mentioned here.
So Im guessing this is more aimed at the people that dont quit complaining, instead of a healthy rant once in a good while.
ranting and bitching are two different things. i go on rants when i'm upset about something. my coworker/ex-friend constantly bitches about EV-ER-Y-THING in her life. and i do mean everything. all the time. so much that it makes people not like her because she is always bitching, bitching, bitching and ruining everyone else's day. it's not heartless to tell someone that if they perhaps stopped bitching about every little thing, that they might see their life isn't so bad. the serious truth is, people who have truly terrible lives don't bitch like this.
So Im guessing this is more aimed at the people that dont quit complaining, instead of a healthy rant once in a good while.
